After years of online shopping, we were ready to work with a realtor, booked a trip to Palm Springs, and contacted Dan Valentino who came highly recommended by a friend. Dan sent some listings with questions to understand our preferences. His knowledge and experience was evident from the start. We planned to fly down on a Monday, enjoy time in the area, then meet Dan and Debi that Thursday to view homes. While waiting for our flight, Dan sent a link to a home listed that morning with offers being reviewed on Wednesday. He was very respectful of our schedule and didn’t push. We asked if we could see it Tuesday morning. While viewing the home, the seller’s agent said they would be reviewing offers that night instead of Wednesday. Wanting to see a few more homes before we decided, Dan and Debi made last minute calls to setup showings but they were right, the first home was the one. We called from dinner and Dan guided us through the offer process and how to make it appealing to the seller. We were not the highest bid but our offer was accepted. Dan and Debi made everything easy, were attentive, and just couldn’t be nicer people. They make you feel like you are their only clients. On the final walkthrough, we noticed items left by the seller not on the inventory list and asked Dan if he negotiated them for us. He had. We mentioned liking a statue in the yard that the sellers were taking. Without our knowledge, Debi found the source. We are sure the amount of work the Valentinos do without the buyers’ knowledge is unfathomable. In an age when services are being commoditized, it’s a pleasure to work with professionals that go above and beyond for you. We hope we can work with Dan and Debi again. We highly recommend them!
